His Highness emphasized that these inaugurated projects reflect the generous support and great attention given by the wise leadership to the growth and development of all regions of the Kingdom, in achieving Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to improve the quality of life and enhance sustainable development. He expressed his happiness at inaugurating a group of vital road projects in the Jazan region, praising in this regard the efforts of the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services with its sectors and integrated ecosystem, and the distinguished services it provides that contribute to enhancing comprehensive development across various regions of the Kingdom.
The inaugurated projects included the completion of the (Al-Shuqaiq / Al-Tuwal) road and the execution of 6 surface intersections on the coastal road, with a length of 88 km and a cost of 290 million riyals. This is in addition to the inauguration of a project to duplicate and upgrade the Al-Haqou / Al-Reeth / Jallat Al-Hayah road, with a length of 15 km and a cost of 161 million riyals, as well as the inauguration of a project that includes two roads from south to north and east to west in Fayfa, namely the Al-Haqou / Fayfa road, with a length of 20 km and a cost of 135 million riyals. Additionally, the Al-Lahjah - Al-Soudah / Halwah road project was inaugurated, with a length of 12 km and a cost of 125 million riyals, along with the completion of the Black Mountain (Al-Jabal Al-Aswad) road and the Jabal Al-Qahar road, with a length of 6 km and a cost of 35 million riyals.
The inauguration also included the completion of the Al Yahya road, Al Zaidan road, and the West Al Suhaif road project, with a length of 5 km and a cost of 30 million riyals, in addition to the inauguration of the Al-Janabah road and the Al-Qaah / Al-Shaiban and Al-Qutail road, with a length of 9 km and a cost of 21 million riyals. Furthermore, the completion of the Al-Rahah road execution project was inaugurated with a length of 3 km and a cost of 8 million riyals, along with the completion of the Al-Othmaniyah road and the Al-Makhadah road, with a length of 6 km and a cost of two million riyals.
For his part, His Excellency the Minister of Transport and Logistics Services confirmed that these service and development projects come within a series of projects to serve the residents and visitors of the region, to support mobility and enhance connectivity between governorates and centers. At the same time, he highlighted the keenness of the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services to complete all its projects according to the highest technical specifications, with the highest degrees of safety and quality, and according to the approved schedules.
