The Principle of Public Participation:
The Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services follows the Guidelines for Using E-Community Participation Tools in Government Entities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, issued by the Digital Government Authority.
Where all segments of society can participate and express their opinions through electronic platforms to discuss various issues, topics, and phenomena related to the transport and logistics system. This participation can contribute to and assist in drafting decisions and regulations by the ministry's decision-makers, as e-participation adds numerous advantages, most notably achieving the principle of transparency, increasing engagement, and speeding up decision-making.
Community Participation Terms and Guidelines
Interaction and e-participation on the Ministry’s web pages through electronic participation channels constitutes implicit consent to the terms and conditions governing such contributions. The Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services expects visitors of its e-platforms to review the guidelines and controls specified below:
- Submissions shall be written in clear language that respects standard Arabic grammar and orthography guidelines as far as practicable.
- Refrain from submitting duplicate contributions
- The use of offensive, defamatory, or obscene language, information, or expressions is strictly prohibited. Submissions must not contain any words that violate public decency, slander any individual or entity, or carry derogatory religious, sectarian, or racial connotations under any circumstances.
- Due care must be taken when quoting religious texts (Qura'an verses, Hadiths, etc.) in submissions received by the website to prevent any alteration or textual errors. Furthermore, such texts must not be used out of their proper context.
- Submissions shall be characterized by seriousness, objectivity, clarity, and conciseness.
- The use of the Ministry’s pages for any commercial promotion, unsolicited advertising (spam), or any other form of misuse is strictly prohibited.
- The publication of personal data, including names, contact information, and addresses, is strictly prohibited, as is marketing or promoting any third party.
- The transmission of links intended for sharing or downloading files, viruses, or corrupted data is strictly prohibited.
- Misuse of the Ministry’s e-participation systems is strictly prohibited, including any actions that may compromise their performance, security, speed, or continuity, or that may prevent others from accessing and utilizing them.
Opinion Gathering:
The Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services provides an opportunity for everyone to communicate with the Ministry and share their experiences, suggestions, ideas, and challenges through e-participation platforms, aimed at gathering feedback and consultations from beneficiaries
Following Up on Responses and Views
The Ministry pays great attention to reviewing, assessing, and responding to all submissions appropriately based on the topics discussed. Without any obligation to do so, the Ministry reserves the right to reject or delete any entries that it deems contrary to its policy or the applicable laws in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Utilization of Public Feedback:
Feedback and views received by the Ministry shall be utilized for policy formulation, decision-making, or identifying potential opportunities. The Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services retains the right to utilize and redistribute the findings in the manner it deems appropriate.
