Enhancing Logistics Performance

Scope

Enhancing logistics performance in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and improve logistics competitiveness by developing and establishing building and development standards for modern warehouses and logistics zones that align with world-class construction and operational standards, ensuring technological and sustainability objectives. It also contributes to identifying and implementing plans and measures to comprehensively improve re-export procedures in the Kingdom by assessing logistics competitiveness and launching a Logistics Competitiveness Enhancement Program, which supports the growth of the freight brokerage market by maximizing commercial potential (re-export and transshipment).
It also aims to establish a global forum on the future of transportation and logistics to discuss various developments in future transport, innovation, and emerging technologies, and explore ways to leverage them in the transportation and logistics sector. The forum will review countries’ experiences in the technological domain, including Saudi Arabia’s experience in launching several electronic platforms that significantly contribute to standardizing and streamlining work procedures. The forum will help enhance the Kingdom’s image and highlight the remarkable progress across various fields, particularly in the logistics sector. Additionally, the forum will be accompanied by an international specialized exhibition in transportation and logistics, attracting stakeholders from the transport and logistics sectors, as well as professionals in the field, to showcase investment opportunities to leading international investors, entrepreneurs, and active companies in the sector, and to highlight developments and their impact on future generations.
