As an extension
of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the
Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense visit the French
Republic, the Minister of Transport studies the future opportunities of the
transportation’s projects in the kingdom with French companies.
His Excellency
started the meetings with the Mr. Patrice Caine the Thales Group CEO, which is
currently working on the North Railway project. Where they discussed the
opportunities to develop the work in new railway lines with a 450 km length and
take the advantage of the smart technologies in aviation and systems of the Air
Navigation Company.
Also, EH met Me.Rodolphe
Saadé the CMA CGM President, where they discussed an opportunity to take the
advantage of the company's expertise in shipping and container handling, also
the company ability to participate in the Kingdom future projects.
After that, Mr.
Al-Amoudi met with Mr. Guillaume Faure the Airbus CEO and the Airbus President
of Africa and the Middle East Mr. Mikail Houari. Were HE disclose the company's
expertise in the aircraft industry and the opportunities for opening a spare
parts factory in the Kingdom and training the Saudi cadres.
The Minister
also met with Mr.Guillaume Pepy the SNCF CEO Which provides many services in
the Kingdom, like the financial and technical advisory services for railway
projects. They discussed an opportunity to take the advantage of the company's
expertise in the rail transport, also the company ability to participate in the
Kingdom trains and metro projects.
the last
meeting was with the Mr.Jean-Claude Decaux the JCDecaux CEO and Mr. Martin
Sabbagh the CEO JCDecaux Middle East. JCDecaux is the exclusive operator for
advertising services at the Kingdom's airports.

end the day met the Le Figaro a French newspaper, they discussed the economic
and trade relations between the two friendly countries and the French company's
opportunities to participate in the future projects in Kingdom.
The delegation
accompanying the Minister of Transport included a number of officials of the
MOT, Mr. Hathlool Al-Hathlool the Deputy Minister of Strategic Planning at the
Ministry of Transport, Mr. Yasser Al-Dawood the Undersecretary of the Ministry
to support the implementation in the Transport Sectors Entities and Mr. Ghassan
AbdulJawad the General director of International Cooperations and Strategy
advisor.
The Crown Prince visit
to France to meet the common political desires to strengthen the partnership
between the two friendly countries. Kingdom makes sure to enhance France's
participation in the Saudi Vision 2030 and the benefits of the partnerships for
the two side.
