The Ministry of
Transport in Jizan branch opened the traffic in Al-Aridhah – Abu-Arish road,
after completing the working in its duplication and creation the safety
measures coordinating with the General Traffic Department in the region.
This road has a
vital importance more than its linking the two regions Al Aridhah and Abu
Arish. Also serves the used of the Abu Arish industrial zone, as well as the
Armed Forces Hospital and Abu Arish General Hospital also it serves the army in
the region.
This project is
one of the current roads rehabilitation projects that length 9 km for the two
roads, and width 11.8 m that connected directly with the duplication Abu Arish
Municipality road.
The MOT has
mandated another contractor to complete the remain road works within two months
after the previous contractor fails to complete the project.
The Jazan
region has experienced a number of Ministry officials visits during the last
three months, as part of its current approach to deal with non-performing
projects by changing the contractors or finding solutions to implementing the
projects on time.
