Minister of Transport Dr. Nabil bin Mohammed Al-Amoudi met today with Japanese Minister of Economy, Trade, Industry and Energy Mr. Hiroshige Sekō, in the presence of the Japanese Ambassador to the Kingdom Mr. Tsukasa Uemura.
The meeting was held in line with the Saudi-Japanese Business Forum, to discuss the opportunities for developing the Saudi transport sectors, exchanging experiences to support the Saudi Vision 2030. HE Dr. Al- Amoudi thanked the Saudi Investment Authority for its efforts to improve the business environment, creating promising opportunities for local and foreign investments in the Kingdom.
The Ministry of Transport displayed its efforts in preventing natural hazards on roads with the Japanese company Tokyo Rob last December. Also, the officials reviewed the results of rockfall damage contain experience in the mountain roads south the Kingdom, which included a field study in 17 sites in Asir, among which Dale mountain road.
