After assigning a new contractor, the Deputy Minister of Transport oversees Madinah- Hail Doubled Road.
His Excellency Deputy Minister of Transport Eng. Saad bin Abdulaziz Al-Khalb oversaw Al-Madinah-Hail Road Project. He also inspected the preparations of the new contractor after two weeks of inspecting the same road in Hail. He also inspected several ongoing projects in Al-Madinah during his visit to the region accompanied by the Undersecretary of Roads Eng. Majed Al-Argobi and a number of officials in the Ministry of Transport.
The tour of the Deputy Minister of Transport included the Third Ring Road Project in Al-Madinah where he withdraws the project from a defaulted contractor, clarifying that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz stressed the importance of serving the Two Holy Mosques and not to hesitate in anything related to their services. And thanked His Highness the governor of the region for his support.
On the sidelines of the visit, the Undersecretary of Roads met a number of roads contractors in Al-Madinah to review the achievement rates and discuss the ways to prompt implementations. Mr. Al-Argobi emphasized the importance of committing to the deadlines, pointing out that the inspection tours will continue to guarantee the progress of the projects and solve the problems that face the contractors.
It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Transport considers it one of its top priorities to monitor the ongoing projects through the inspecting tours of its officials in all the Kingdom's regions to enhance the performance of the projects.
