His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Transport Eng. Saad bin Abdulaziz Al-Khaleb visited Al- Kharj Governorate during which he visited the projects under construction and maintenance, especially the Al-Kharj-Dalam-Al-Quwaiyah intersection project, in which the executing contractor resumed the work after giving a final warning of suspension. The Vice Minister also met with His Excellency Mr. Musaad bin Abdullah Al-Madi Governor of Al-Kharj and discussed the progress of the ongoing projects being implemented in the cities and the towns of Al-Kharj Governorate.The Deputy Minister of Transport also visited the eastern alternative road project intersected with the western base gate. This project will divert the track of the trucks coming through Harad road and allow them to complete their route without passing through the city. His Excellency requested an urgent report from the contractor to explain the reason for the delay, stressing that the ministry will not tolerate in dealing with the defaulter projects file.At the end of his visit, the Deputy Minister of Transport stressed that the inspection tours will be a permanent approach for the Ministry and its officials, and will not exclude any of the Kingdom's areas. He pointed out that this is in response to the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince on the importance of conducting field visits to the projects and follow up the services provided to citizens. HE Dr. Nabil Al-Amoudi stressed the importance of following up the implementation of the road projects supervised by the Ministry and working firmly to overcome all the obstacles facing their execution. HE Dr. Nabil always stresses the Ministry's keenness to update the provided services, upgrade the technical standards to ensure safety on roads.
