His Excellency, the Minister of Transport Dr. Nabil bin Mohammed Al-Amoudi, congratulated His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Public Investment Fund, on the launch of "Neom" project which will transform the Kingdom to a leading global model in various life aspects.
Al-Amoudi stressed that the Kingdom's economic position among international investors will make the financing of the "Neom" project approximately more than $ 500 billion over the coming years. This project will provide an opportunity to support the local GDP based on the Kingdom's natural resources and the geographical location linking the continents of the world. Noting the readiness of the transport sector entities to become part of this project in line with the Kingdom of 2030 vision.
Neom project will have intelligent solutions for mobility, like auto-driving cars and even aircrafts. The Minister of Transport said that he is proud that the transport sector entities in the Kingdom are part of this promising future vision and we are moving toward activating the intelligent transport systems to raise the level of services provided in all the transport system (land, maritime, air, and rails). We will benefit from international experiences to fulfill the aspirations of "Neom" project and His Highness the Crown prince, which will make this project the most significant investment project in the world.
