The Ministry of Transport referred to a citizen's video that was posted on social media explaining how his vehicle end up in a valley, after driving on a new road in the northern region, at Rafha governorate.After checking the warning and guidance signs of the road at the same location, it became clear that there were number of traffic signs as follows: A traffic sign 400 m before the intersection showing the direction of (Linha, Rafha, Hail, and Arar) to the right, a traffic sign indicating the direction of (Al-Hada, Samoudah, Al-Halabatin, Riyadh) to the left. There were also ground warning signs about 300 meters before the intersection, in addition to a warning sign indicating the end of the road (T) and another showing the maximum speed of 50 kilometers at about 335 meters before the intersection.
The statement pointed out that another traffic signs were added at the location and on the roads leading to it, although there were no incidents in the site, according to the Northern Border Region Traffic Department.
The Ministry would like to thank the citizens for their responsiveness and interaction and confirm that the ministry is responsible for all the main roads that are implemented.
